Well, I’ve just arrived back in Bujumbura, Burundi, after 4 days in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. That was a difficult place, dirty, poverty-stricken and makes Buj look like heaven. I’ve been taking photos, working on a travel diary and promise I’ll do a day-by-day, blow-by-blow account here when I get home and have time to properly write things out.
